Our Policies
Pick up Policy
Our centre closes at 6pm daily, parents are encouraged to arrive on time to pick up. If you will be picking up late or earlier than usual, please inform/call staff before you come to pick up. Late fees will apply to late pickup.
Telephone Policy
Our primary focus is to provide the best care for your Child(ren). When we are busy with the children’s activities or at nap time, we will not be able to answer your call, but leave message with our administrative staff. We will return your call before the end of the day.
Visiting Times Policy
This is strictly by appointment only and must be arranged with the centre director.
Health & Illness Policy
Staff will only administer prescribed medicine with the doctor’s note. Parents must fill out a medication consent form. Any children that have contagious diseases like diarrhea, chicken pox, pink eye, mumps must stay at home and can return upon the doctors’ clearance. This is to protect the children and staff.
Fees and Withdrawal Policy
Fees are due on the first day of each month, with a requirement of a six-month post dated check at registration and throughout your child’s enrolment. Withdrawal requires a minimum of two months notice.Cheques must be repaid within five working days, including the $45 surcharge.Your child space is reserved, so fees are required for a child’s possible illness and vacation days. To withdraw your child from our center, we require a minimum of two months notice. Your deposit will be returned to you after the withdrawal notice. Your deposit will be forfeited without a withdrawal notice.
Unauthorized Person’s Policy
Only authorized persons listed on your child’s registration form will be allowed to pick up your child. You can always update the list of the individuals that are authorized for pick up for your child.An unauthorized person will not be allowed to have access to your child. Your child will remain under the supervision of our childcare staff until an authorized person arrives.
Snow fall/unsafe weather closure policy
If the school and transit facilities are closed due to extreme snowfall and unsafe weather conditions, our centre will be closed for the safety of our staff. Please check your local news and our website.
